Celebrity Chef Antonia Lofaso to Again Headline Wild Alaska Pollock Annual Meeting

SEATTLE, Wash.— Acclaimed Los Angeles TV Personality and Celebrity Chef will once again headline the fifth annual Wild Alaska Pollock Annual Meeting to be held on September 28, at the Four Seasons Seattle, the Association of Genuine Alaska Pollock Producers (GAPP) announced today. The meeting will bring together representatives across all segments of the Wild Alaska Pollock industry, and participants will enjoy learning more about Chef Antonia’s unique perspective on the world of food, the restaurant industry, television cooking shows and connecting consumers to proteins like Wild Alaska Pollock.

“We couldn’t be more excited for a chef of Antonia’s caliber to grace our stage once again during our fifth annual meeting,” said Craig Morris, Chief Executive Officer of GAPP. “Chef Antonia was a huge hit last year not only leading our influencer campaign but also preparing live on stage a signature dish from her influencer work with GAPP to rave reviews at the meeting: Wild Alaska Pollock Milanese. We can’t wait to see what she—quite literally—cooks up this year for our attendees again live on stage.”

Chef Antonia also a part of GAPP’s “Always On” awareness and demand campaign that launched on social media in the U.S. last year and will continue with three “waves” of content this year, the first launching yet this summer. The campaign features popular online influencers, headlined by celebrity Chef Antonia, who create on-trend recipes with Wild Alaska Pollock products and engage with home cooks from coast to coast on the unique attributes of the fish and fishery.

“I’m thrilled to continue my partnership with the Genuine Alaska Pollock Producers this summer,” said Chef Lofaso. “As a chef, I’m always looking for ingredients that inspire me in the kitchen. Wild Alaska Pollock is the perfect example of a versatile, yet delicious and nutritious protein. Since it’s easy to cook, it’s perfect for families and friends alike to try. I’m looking forward to sharing more about Wild Alaska Pollock at GAPP’s meeting this September.”

For the first time, the event will be held at the Four Seasons Hotel in downtown Seattle and will run from 8:30am – 5:00pm with an evening reception to immediately follow. Registration is available here for those wishing to register to attend the Wild Alaska Pollock Annual Meeting either in-person or virtually. GAPP is proud to announce the event’s Title Sponsor: USI Insurance Services.
